In my previous post last week analyzing all 4000+ sales in July, I mentioned how Tuesdays consistently had the lowest sales for Bring A Trailer & Cars & Bids. The reasons behind this trend remain unclear. This week's numbers seem to suggest a similar pattern, but there might be more to the story.

As for my sales expectations this week, I had hoped for a new player to break into the listing table. Platforms like Autohunter, Bonhams Online, and Hagerty were the closest contenders, but their listings haven't been consistent enough to make it happen yet. Fingers crossed for an exciting shift in the future!

If you don’t see your favorite site in the table above, it’s because their listing numbers are extremely low.

What an incredible week it's been for sales once again!

We've observed transactions totaling just over $43 million, mirroring the previous week's impressive numbers, indicating that sales remain at a high level.

Let's start with Bring A Trailer, which continues to surpass itself with soaring sales. Over the past few weeks, their sales figures have climbed from 476 to 507, then 571, and now an astonishing 598. While I had predicted they would reach 600 last week, they came tantalizingly close with only two sales shy.

However, this week, I foresee a slight shift. They currently have 42 fewer cars listed, and despite some amazing offerings, I anticipate a dip in their sales volume. Let's keep a close eye on this.

As for the other contenders, the 'chasing pack' saw marginal increases in sales volume last week. It remains to be seen if they can maintain this steady growth. Based on the current listing numbers, I expect sales from all these platforms to be of a similar nature.
