LISTINGS THIS WEEK
Hope you're all ready to dive deep into the figures and trends of this week! Unfortunately, the policy of many platforms to withhold listing numbers post-auction means these figures often remain hidden, revealing only successful sales. But as dedicated readers, you have exclusive access to these behind-the-scenes numbers.
This week's standout trend is the surge in listings from Bring A Trailer – a development that should pique the interest of all other platforms. Car & Classic continues to lead the pack in the UK, dominating listing numbers with their impressive collection.
Another noteworthy mention is Bonhams Online. While they didn't quite make this week's chart, they're hot on the heels of the pack. Just a few more listings next week, and we'll see them breaking into the chart.
Hagerty, although still to make an appearance on our chart, is consistently selling two to three vehicles per day.
Rest assured, I'll be keeping a close eye on the entire online market, monitoring trends, and providing you with the most comprehensive insights.

If you don’t see your favorite site in the table above, it’s because their listing numbers are extremely low.

SALES LAST WEEK

The figures shared above account only for auction-time sales. Any post-auction deals (nice follow-through!) aren't included in our weekly total.
What a phenomenal week it has been in sales! We've witnessed over $43m in transactions, outpacing the previous week by a cool $5m. While I don't monitor physical auctions, if I did, I'd confidently proclaim that the online domain is where the action truly sizzles and the future beckons. Sure, there's room for physical auctions, but the online space is on an unstoppable growth trajectory.
As for the arrows denoting weekly fluctuations, give them a miss except for Bring A Trailer. Other sites on the list either nudged their sales count by one or two units more or less than the previous week, essentially maintaining a steady pace. Bring A Trailer, however, is painting a different picture with week-on-week leaps in sales in July: 452 in week one, 476 in week two, 507 in week three, and a significant jump to 571 this week. I foresee the coming week setting a record-breaking 600 sales!
Cars & Bids are best positioned to give BaT a run for its money, thanks to their consistent high sell-through rate. However, it will take some time to ramp up their listings. The race is on!
As always, rest assured that I keep a close eye on all platforms in the automotive realm. If your favorite platform is not listed, it's simply because their sales numbers might be lower in comparison.

TOP 3 SALES LAST WEEK

FORD SALES LAST WEEK
Ford, a legendary name in the automotive world, showcased its wide-ranging legacy with an impressive array of models sold in last week's online auctions. From timeless classics to modern performance beasts, the diversity of Ford cars on the auction block was simply remarkable.
At the top end, we had the iconic 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series, a rare supercar that exemplifies Ford's relentless pursuit of high-performance excellence. It commanded an impressive $958,000, setting the bar high for enthusiasts and collectors. ️

Vintage lovers were treated to a piece of history with the likes of the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a muscle car that evokes memories of a bygone era. This automotive icon found a new home for $235,000, attracting the attention of those who cherish the golden age of American muscle.

In the modern-day performance segment, the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake Speedster Edition flexed its muscles, fetching $116,313 and showcasing Ford's prowess in producing contemporary sports cars.

Not to be outdone, the 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack and the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 – Herrod Supercharged delivered exceptional performance, each securing $106,000 and $72,100, respectively. ️

But the beauty of Ford's legacy lies not only in its performance models. Vintage pickups like the 1969 Ford Bronco and the 1935 Ford V-8 Deluxe Phaeton added a touch of nostalgia to the mix, reminding us of Ford's enduring presence throughout automotive history. ️

As a true-blue Ford enthusiast, I am captivated by the stories behind these cars and their ability to capture the hearts of collectors and aficionados alike. With each auction, we witness the unwavering passion for Ford's timeless charm and the sense of camaraderie among enthusiasts worldwide. ❤️
Now let’s have a look at all the top 10 Ford sales from last week.

An interesting twist in the auction world last week – the Mustang outsold the F-Series, which is a departure from the usual trend. It seems like the iconic pony car took the lead this time, adding an exciting element to the sales dynamics.

Below, I present a breakdown of the top 5 selling models, showcasing the performance of each platform in the last week. This insightful analysis will give you a clear picture of which models thrived on each platform.
